Maybe one of the levels has to do with auto lane change with PA when you activate the turn signal (car must have side sensors like Park Pilot Assist requires, to work)

Similar in the US, it seems 2020 or so the ABS pump is not required. PA2 can still be enabled without replacing the ABS pump block, it will function, just not official Volvo process.

As I said, maybe it wasn't too clear, but there is a lane change assist feature in PA where it will perform a lane change on the freeway by you activating the turn signal. I *think* that requires the car to have the side sensors that are the same ones installed on a car with Park Pilot Assist. I'm speculating that the ACC level variants above "level 1" may include that feature. We don't know what "level 2" and "level 3" entail yet, AFAIK anyways.

Checked on a XC60 MY21 recently upgraded with Total Upgrade, the only difference in pilot assistance I found in comparison with my XC90 MY16, is in Traffic Jam Assist level.
I have Level 2, the XC60 has level 3.
Honestly speaking, I don't know what does it imply and if I can upgrade my assistance level.

Upgrade early model years with Intellisafe Support Upgrade to get the same system as models manufactured between 2018 and 2019.
